Privacy Policy

When you scan a label, a photo, or an ingredient list, that text or image is sent to our server and then to an external AI provider through the Lovable AI Gateway so the analysis can be generated. We do not control how that provider handles data beyond the terms of that service.

Please do not submit confidential personal information, medical records, identity documents, or anything else you would not want processed by a third-party AI service.

supscan does not currently have user accounts, sign-in, or subscriptions. Because accounts are not implemented, your scans are not saved to a personal account and cannot be tied back to you through an account profile.

Some information is stored locally on your own device using browser storage, for example your language choice, your optional onboarding answers, and your recent scan history. This data stays on your device, is not an entitlement or security mechanism, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

• We process limited operational data — such as request timing, error information, and a rate-limiting identifier derived from your network connection — to keep the service available and to prevent abuse.
• Aggregate, anonymous usage counts may be processed to understand reliability and capacity.
• This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability, not for advertising or profiling.

• AI analysis: an external AI provider accessed through the Lovable AI Gateway.
• Hosting and infrastructure: our hosting provider processes requests in order to serve the site.
